Relationships for Teens
Successful relationships are a responsibility, not a right.
For teens, life’s relationships can be turbulent because of the overload of emotions and physical changes they’re experiencing. Their behavior must quickly switch gears when they’re interacting with teachers at school, relatives at home, and friends on the soccer field—a new skill for someone just a few years removed from childhood.
Just the Facts: Straight Talk About Relationships for Teens, a program offered in high schools throughout Alabama, helps teens through this vulnerable time in their lives by teaching them valuable life-skills. The course teaches teens that the building blocks of their everyday lives are their relationships with family and friends.
